Early flights fail on the ground, not in the air. There is no second service if the car does not turn up at 4AM, no queue of taxis on a suburban street, and no realistic alternative between the pickup time and the check-in cut-off. That is the entire reason to book rather than hail.
Dispatch runs from 3:00AM, every day of the year, and the drivers who work that shift work it deliberately — rested, allocated the night before, with the route already planned. It is a roster, not a hope that somebody accepts the job.
There is no surcharge for the hour. The fixed fare that applies at 2PM applies at 4AM, which is worth stating because it is the point at which most services apply a multiplier and the reason a pre-dawn booking is usually the cheaper of the two.
Roads are the one thing in your favour before dawn: the run that takes fifty minutes at 8AM takes half of that at 4AM. We still build in margin, because the cost of being ten minutes early is nothing and the cost of being ten minutes late is the flight.
Flight monitoring runs from the moment you book, so a schedule change overnight is picked up before the pickup rather than at the terminal. Payment is on the day by card through EFTPOS, cash or PayID, and cancelling more than 24 hours ahead is free.

Pre-dawn pickups run to every suburb in Greater Sydney, including the outer west and the far north where 4AM rideshare availability is effectively zero. Dispatch is from 3:00AM daily; earlier starts are handled by arrangement.
Longer early runs — the Blue Mountains, the Central Coast, the Southern Highlands, Wollongong and Newcastle into Sydney Airport — are quoted individually and fixed at booking. Ring 0427 143 612 to confirm timing on a long inbound leg.
