Getting from The Darling at The Star to Sydney Airport
From The Darling at The Star in Pyrmont, the quickest route to Sydney Airport joins the Western Distributor, links to the Eastern Distributor through the city, and exits at the Airport Link to the terminals. Under normal conditions the trip takes approximately 25–40 min covering ~10 km.
When city tunnels back up during evening peak or after events, drivers swing inland via Harris Street → Broadway → Cleveland Street → Eastern Distributor — a surface route that often beats tunnel congestion at no extra charge.
Prime Rider drivers know Pyrmont and the CBD in detail — including The Star's porte-cochère access, event-night Darling Harbour congestion, and the Western Distributor exit closures during late-night roadworks. Every run is live-tracked to your flight.
