Flights do not stop at 11PM, and neither does the problem of getting home from them. The late-night booking exists because the options thin out exactly when you are least able to improvise: a long queue at the rank, a rideshare that declines the outer-suburb run, or a train that stopped hours ago.
There is no surcharge for the hour. The fixed fare that applies in the middle of the afternoon applies at 2AM — no night premium, no after-hours loading, and no multiplier because demand spiked when three international flights landed together.
The drivers on the overnight roster work it deliberately rather than as an extension of a day shift. They are CPV-accredited and police-checked, which for a passenger travelling alone after midnight is the part of the service that matters most.
Your flight is tracked from the moment you book. For international arrivals the driver waits up to 60 minutes after landing while you clear customs — that allowance is built in, not charged for, and the meet is inside the arrivals hall with a name sign rather than at a kerb.
Payment is on the day by card through EFTPOS, cash or PayID. Nothing is charged when you book and no card is held, so a cancelled or rescheduled flight is a phone call rather than a refund process.
